RETURN POLICY

At Bharat Saj, every instrument is handcrafted with
care and precision. Since our products are custom-made to order, we
follow a strict return and refund policy to ensure fairness and transparency.
Please read the following carefully before placing your order.

1. Eligibility for Returns

  • Because
    all our products are custom-built, we generally do not accept
    returns or exchanges
    once the product has been manufactured and
    shipped.
  • Exceptions
    apply only in the following cases:
  • The
    product arrives damaged during transit.
  • You
    receive the wrong product (different from what you ordered).
  • The
    product has a manufacturing defect.

2. Damaged or Defective Products

  • If
    your instrument arrives damaged or defective, you must notify us within 48
    hours of delivery
    .
  • To
    process your claim, we require:
  • Clear
    photos/videos
    of the product and packaging.
  • A detailed
    description
    of the issue.
  • Once
    reviewed, our team will guide you on the next steps, which may include
    repair, replacement, or partial/full refund (based on the situation).

3. Wrong Product Received

  • If
    you receive an incorrect product, please notify us within 48 hours
    with proof (photos/videos).
  • We
    will arrange for the correct product to be shipped to you at no extra
    cost.

4. Non-Returnable Items

  • Custom-made
    instruments cannot be returned for reasons such as:
  • Change
    of mind.
  • Slight
    differences in color/finish (since handcrafted items may vary slightly).
  • Minor
    variations in design, which are part of the handmade process.

5. Refund Process

  • If
    approved, refunds will be initiated within 7–10 business days.
  • Refunds
    are processed through the original payment method used at checkout.
  • Depending
    on your bank or payment provider, it may take additional time for the
    refund to reflect in your account.

6. Replacement & Repairs

  • In
    eligible cases, instead of a refund, we may offer a replacement product
    or repair service at no extra cost.
  • The
    decision will be based on the extent of damage/defect and availability of
    materials.

7. Return Shipping

  • If a
    return is approved, we will provide instructions for shipping the product
    back to us.
  • In
    most cases of defect/damage, we will bear the shipping costs.
  • In
    cases where the customer is responsible (e.g., incorrect address, refusal
    of delivery), shipping costs will not be covered.

8. Cancellations

  • Orders
    can only be canceled within 24 hours of placement, as production
    begins immediately after.
  • Once
    manufacturing has started, cancellations are not possible.
